Njord Medtech® has received a grant of approximately 900,000 SEK to prepare Atle® for production together with our contract manufacturer and CE mark the product in line with MDR 2017/745.
A market introduction of the intended product have several positive impacts on the healthcare system:
- The patient gets a safe and comfortable lateral transfer with improved integrity
- The caregivers gets a better work environment with reduced heavy work and stress
- The hospital is given the opportunity to 1) simplify staffing, 2) reduced number of workforce injuries, 3) increase staff well-being in line with the Work Environment Act, 4) increase productivity at for example radiology departments
Extensive verification of several prototypes and solution proposals has been done with care unit managers and nurses at nine radiology units in Sweden prior to project start. Within the given project, we aim to prepare Atle® for production together with our contract manufacturer and CE mark the product in line with MDR 2017/745.
