Njord Medtech® is pleased to announce that the patent application “Automatic hygiene system for patient transfer device” has been approved by Patent och Registreringsverket (PRV). Leveraging an innovation-centric approach with iterative development cycles together with product development and key stakeholders at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
Njord is happy to achieve this key milestone of having a first granted patent.The patent is tied to the upcoming commercialization of Atle® and will be followed by additional national applications via The Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) covering the main markets Njord Medtech will drive international sales towards.
The patent application followed an intense development phase bringing forward Atle-prototype-1, additional functionality has been added during a second cycle of development in 2020 from which additional patent applications will follow.
