AI Software Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented  individual to help build the next generation of AI-powered software at Njord. You will design, develop, and deploy internal software applications that improve productivity, automate workflows, and create new digital capabilities for employees, customers, and distributors.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys software development and wants hands-on experience building real AI products using modern Large Language Models (LLMs), APIs, cloud services, and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop internal AI-powered web applications and tools.for employees, distributors, and customers.
• Prototype and test new AI-driven products and features.
• Connect applications to databases and business systems.
• Implement authentication, security, and user management.
• Deploy and maintain cloud-based applications.
• Identify opportunities where AI can solve business challenges.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and frameworks
• Contribute ideas for future AI-enabled products.
• Work closely with management and business users to understand requirements.
• Translate business needs into working software solutions.
• Document applications and provide user support when needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Passion for software development and AI.
• Strong programming skills and willingness to learn new technologies (Python, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, JavaScript / TypeScript, React or Next.js, SQL or NoSQL databases, MCP integrations) 
• Curious, self-driven, and eager to build real products.
